That’s why at Boss Plumbing, we dedicate ourselves to initiatives that give back, ensuring Saskatoon remains a vibrant and caring place for everyone. Whether it’s through charitable events, local business support, or recognizing everyday heroes, our goal is simple: to uplift Saskatoon and grow together! 

How we make an impact

  • Boss Charity Run: Giving back should be active and fun! Our annual charity run challenges participants to get moving for a cause. For every kilometer run, we donate to a local charity, turning every step into an achievement with a purpose.
  • Community Giveaways & Partnerships: We team up with Rock 102 to provide free furnace and AC installations to those in need. Through initiatives like Stuff the Bus (supporting the Saskatoon Food Bank & Learning Centre), Salute to Community Heroes, and Holiday Heroes, we recognize and reward individuals making a difference in our city.
  • Mental Health Support: We believe mental health is an important concern in the trades, and it is our initiative to help make it a priority in the workplace. Early in 2025, we partnered with Love My Mind to create the first-ever Lunch & Learn for Mental Health Awareness in the trades industry. The health and wellness of our team members has always been a top priority, which is why we were absolutely thrilled to be the title sponsor for this impactful event in our community.
  • Boss Shops Local Promotion: We believe in supporting the businesses that make Saskatoon special. With every service we provide, our customers receive a gift card to a featured locally owned company, because shopping local keeps our community strong.
  • Power Hour Sponsorship: In 2024, Boss Plumbing was proud to take part in the annual Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Radiothon, supporting vital cardiac and respiratory care for kids across Saskatchewan. What began 20 years ago as a small fundraiser has grown into the province’s largest annual event dedicated to maternal and pediatric health. As a Power Hour sponsor, Boss Plumbing helped triple the impact of donor contributions. Our team also volunteered bright and early, answering phones and collecting donations. It was an inspiring and rewarding experience to see our community rally together for the health and future of Saskatchewan’s children.
