Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Manager to oversee our service operations and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, heating and cooling services, with the ability to lead a team effectively and a focus on delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the service department to ensure efficiency and quality of service.
- Schedule and dispatch technicians to appropriate locations.
- Manage service calls, ensuring timely and effective response to customer needs.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching, and development of team members.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Prepare reports on department performance, technician productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement strategies to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Train and supervise team members in best practices for safety, quality control, and effective use of tools.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate service schedules and meet customer needs.
- Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety regulations and company policies.
- Monitor job progress, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.

Boss Plumbing is currently seeking a highly motivated red-seal tradesperson to fill a service tech position with experience in commercial and residential heating and cooling plumbing services, including construction new builds and renovations. Required knowledge: servicing furnaces, air conditioners, rooftop units, water heaters, boilers and plumbing maintenance and repairs. Residential and commercial work are frequent service calls at Boss Plumbing and a general knowledge of both are required.
